The NDC in Bole - Bamboi takes the constituents for granted and Alhaji Sulemana Yussif Ori is an embodiment of such disrespect. He is a man without a grain of respect, empathy for his people and his actions are very vivid to that effect.
His excuses and popular sayings that his brother isn’t president and that he is in opposition stinks. Contrasting actions within the same political spectrum, highlight the potential for positive impact, even in opposition. Hon. Yussif Sulemana Ori, if he is even honorable in person, is a sharp contrast to some of his peers in parliament.
It's disappointing when elected officials prioritize personal gain over the development of their constituency.
Everything Ori has done in Bole - Bamboi is for a name or a dubious hidden agenda and not an act of goodwill nor is it because he has his people at heart. His interventions are rather crippling and putting his victims in a state of despair.
The people very often make their plights known to him, especially the various youth camps in the constituency and of course it’s not in his place to directly provide solutions but a useful MP will lobby to get the needed support for his people, that is something Ori is incapable of doing.
A couple of months ago I understand a group called freedom fighters approached him and put to his attention the bad state of the health facility opposite Kurabaso school in Bole and the fire service vehicle that is being parked under the sun because there’s no shed for the vehicle(fire-tender), MP made promises and up till now there’s nothing to show for his sweet words.
He prefers making long senseless speeches and displaying his futile oratory prowess than caring for his constituents.
All he does is take pictures with these youths and make sweet promises that he’d never fulfill and perhaps even use such pictures to raise and keep resources for himself. And the infamous Nkilgi Fm will always jump to his defense, a popular reason why things are the way they are in the constituency.
