FRAGILE PLANS 💔💔

I sat down one Saturday morning with a pen and a notebook.

I wrote down my plans.

How, after graduation, I would start a business with my friend.

How I would finally appreciate my uncle for all he had done for me.

How I would marry the woman I loved and spend my life with her.

The future looked so clear.

Everything was arranged neatly on paper.

It has only been a year.

And guess what?

Guess where my friend is.

Guess where my uncle is.

Guess whether I’m still with her.

Life looked at my plans and smiled.

Not because planning is foolish, but because plans are fragile.

We write them with confidence while time quietly writes its own story.

The friend we planned with may leave.

The people we intended to thank may be gone.

The person we thought was our future may become a memory.

These are painful reminders that life does not always follow our script.

But fragile plans have another side.

Sometimes the friendship that ended creates room for better partnerships.

Sometimes the loss that broke us teaches us to love more deeply.

Sometimes the future that disappeared makes way for one we never imagined.

So we keep planning.

Not because every plan will survive, but because hope survives.

Perhaps wisdom is not learning how to make perfect plans, but learning how to build new ones when the old ones fall apart.

Life is fragile.

Our plans are fragile.

So love people while they are here.

Say thank you while you can.

Dream boldly while you still have the chance.

And when life rewrites your plans, do not assume your story is over.

Sometimes what feels like an ending is only a turning point.

Sometimes the next chapter is better than the one you lost.

WHAT ABOUT THE BAD DAYS? 🥺

A young CEO received the best news yet; an investment group was ready to expand the company to another city.

He needed people to take over and manage the other branch. He decided to twist the news to his family, friends, and workers, telling them he had taken a loan and used the company as collateral. He hadn’t been able to pay, and they had received a notice to quit the company. So no one would need to come to work the following week.

His workers demanded their unpaid salaries.

Each family member had something to say.

“We knew you were not going anywhere with this your attitude.”

Criticism flowed in, and everyone was saying their mind.

His wife broke down and questioned how their bills would be paid and why he didn’t inform her he had taken a loan.

He watched it all.

What stood out was his oldest worker.

“You’ve been good to me. I know your heart and your diligence. I believe you intended well, and it’s only unfortunate. I’ll stay till this is fixed.”

The man broke down in tears because for years he thought he was loved, but he was only valued.

And that’s different.

People celebrate you when you are useful.
People gather around you when you are succeeding.
People applaud you when you are winning.

But when the storms come, when the resources are gone, when the future looks uncertain, that’s when you discover who truly cares.

You may lose value, but not love.

In the end, he knew the right person to choose.

The good days have everyone’s loyalty and support.

But what about the bad days?
