JaBi Foundation hits the waters 🌊💙

In collaboration with OhenebaCare Foundation, T-MEN, Spot Stroke Fast Foundation and SeedSpark Foundation, we embarked on a meaningful outreach to the beautiful community of Nzulezu, bringing health services, education, and hope closer to the people.

The outreach featured routine health screening, BMI assessment, blood pressure checks, medical counselling, HIV Self-Test advocacy and distribution, eye screening, ear screening, throat (ENT) examination, free haircuts, distribution of sanitary pads and hygiene items, girl-child education on menstrual hygiene and related health conditions, as well as the donation of books to students within the community.

As JaBi Foundation, we were proud to lead and support key interventions including ear screening, eye screening, throat (ENT) examinations, and HIV Self-Test kit advocacy and distribution.

This outreach reflects our belief that impactful change happens when organizations come together to serve communities with compassion and purpose. A heartfelt thank you to our partner foundations, volunteers, healthcare professionals, and the people of Nzulezu for making this mission a success.

Today we celebrate the courage, sacrifice, and vision of the heroes who fought for our freedom during the historic Ghanaian Independence. Their determination laid the foundation for the nation we proudly call home.

As we mark this special day, let us remember that independence is not only a celebration of our past but also a responsibility for our future. Each of us has a role to play in building a Ghana that is united, progressive, and full of opportunities for every citizen.

We were honored to partner with SELCY Foundation, alongside Upward Motion Foundation, to successfully carry out a Free Health Screening and Donations for the Aged on the 26th of December, 2025 🤍

From medical checks to NHIS registration and essential support, our elderly community was served with care, dignity, and compassion.

Grateful to SELCY Foundation for leading this impactful initiative, and to every volunteer and supporter who made it possible.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT SUMMIT 2025

Breaking the Silence: Advancing Justice and Support to End Gender-Based Violence.

JABI FOUNDATION reaffirmed its commitment to addressing national issues, particularly those related to health and women's empowerment, at the Women Empowerment Summit 2025 held at Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel.

Influential stakeholders, including Her Ladyship Justice Asare Afia Serwah Botwe, Mrs Linda Aboah from Ghana Legal Aid Commission, ACP Owusua Kyeremeh from DOVVSU, and Dr Vanessa Aseye Atikpui, a gender advocate, brainstormed strategies for improving awareness and preventing GBV.

Key takeaways:

- GBV affects people of all ages and backgrounds, often hidden by silence and stigma
- 27.7% of Ghanaian women have faced domestic violence in their lifetime
- Victims often face obstacles in seeking justice, with family and community pressures to settle matters privately
- Mental health support is crucial for survivors, yet often inadequate
- It takes a victim 8 times of attack before they finally make a move to report the case

Let's work together to create a safer, more supportive environment for women and promote gender equality. Be aware of toxic relationships, manipulators, and frenemies. Remember, it takes courage to speak out – let's break the silence!
