April is here… and so are the stories we don’t talk about enough.

Behind every amputation is not just a medical procedure…
There is fear. There is loss. There is a life being redefined.

But there is also something else;
strength, resilience, and the power to begin again.

This month marks Amputee Awareness Month (Limb Loss & Limb Difference Awareness Month), and at Smiles of Hope, we are choosing to shine a light on what truly matters:

✨ The journeys people don’t see
✨ The healing that goes beyond the physical
✨ The communities that make recovery possible

Because here’s the truth:
No one should have to go through this alone.

Throughout April, we will be sharing real stories, raising awareness, and advocating for better support for amputees across Ghana.

Join us. Listen. Learn. Support.

🧡 Together, we are stronger.
🧡 Together, we restore hope.

Quiet on here, but active on the ground.

As Ghana Month ends today 🇬🇭, we are reminded that true national pride means leaving no one behind.
We remain committed to amplifying the voices of amputees, breaking barriers, and building a Ghana where everyone belongs. 💙

🌟 Smiles of Hope Empowers Amputees with Life-Saving Nutrition Education! 🌟

We’re proud to have hosted a powerful session on "Food as Medicine", equipping amputees and caregivers with practical tips on using everyday meals to manage diabetes, hypertension, and improve overall well-being.

A big thank you to our dedicated dietitian -Rahman
and everyone who joined us for this eye-opening symposium. When we understand the link between nutrition and health, we take back control—one plate at a time. 🍽💪🏽
