This month marks Amputee Awareness Month (Limb Loss & Limb Difference Awareness Month), and at Smiles of Hope, we are choosing to shine a light on what truly matters:

Because here’s the truth:

We’re proud to have hosted a powerful session on "Food as Medicine", equipping amputees and caregivers with practical tips on using everyday meals to manage diabetes, hypertension, and improve overall well-being.

A big thank you to our dedicated dietitian -Rahman
and everyone who joined us for this eye-opening symposium. When we understand the link between nutrition and health, we take back control—one plate at a time. 🍽💪🏽

Mampong Support Group Launch – A Great Start! 🙌🏾

Our first amputee support group meeting in Mampong was a success! It was heartwarming to see new faces, meaningful conversations, and strong connections forming. We shared, laughed, encouraged one another, and reminded ourselves that no one has to go through this journey alone. 💙

Thank you to everyone who came—we’re off to a great start, and we look forward to growing this safe space together.

We’re excited to announce the opening of a new Support Group Meeting at Akwapim Mampong. This group is part of our ongoing efforts to reach more amputees and caregivers with peer support and encouragement.

✨ Finale is Here! ✨

We are proud to share that our founder has made it to the final stage of the MTN Heroes of Change 2025!

We climaxed Amputee Awareness Month by visiting Nungua Senior High School to educate and inspire staff and students about limb loss and the power of inclusion.

Our visit was filled with powerful stories, big smiles, and eye-opening conversations.
