Eating late at night especially 3 hours before bed often causes poor sleep, weight gain and acid reflux because metabolism slows down and food is not burned off.

HEALTH IMPACTS
*Weight gain/ obesity
*Reduced sleep quality
*Heartburn
*Higher blood sugar

HEALTHIER CHOICES

β€’Eat your last main meal at least 2–3 hours before bedtime
β€’ If hungry, choose light, easy-to-digest snacks: – Banana
– A handful of groundnuts (peanuts)
– Plain yogurt
– Oat porridge
β€’ Avoid heavy, spicy, or fatty foods late at night
β€’ Limit caffeine and sugary drinks in the evening
β€’ Stay hydrated, but avoid large fluid intake right before bed.
