Paul writes, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8). God’s mercy, as Jeremiah says, is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22–23).

The cross is the greatest picture of grace and mercy together: Jesus took our punishment (mercy) and gave us His righteousness (grace).

We can’t earn it. We can’t repay it. All we can do is receive it and live in gratitude. And when we understand how deeply we’ve been loved, we begin to extend grace and mercy to others.

The Pharisees once asked Jesus when the Kingdom of God would come. His answer was striking: “The Kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation… because the Kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:20–21).

The Kingdom is not merely a future destination—it is a present reality. When you receive Jesus as Lord, His reign begins in your heart. This present Kingdom calls us to live by its principles: righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17).

Yet, the Kingdom also carries a future hope. The day is coming when Jesus will return to establish His Kingdom in fullness—where there will be no death, no mourning, no pain, and God will dwell with His people forever (Revelation 21:3–4).
