When I was 4 years old… I got the beating of my life.
The Story
My mom had just given birth.
She sent me to my uncle’s house… to bring a pot.
I got distracted… and sat down playing with bottles and sticks.
By the time I returned, she was already angry.
She said I smelled like poison.
That’s where the beating began.
She made me walk ahead of her… slapping my back with each step.
I was just a child… too scared to even cry.
That day, I learned how pain and shame can silence a child.
But today, I know better.
Children deserve patience, not punishment.
They deserve to be heard… not silenced.
That painful memory became my lesson.
From burnt… to gold. ✨
