to the unforgettable Abofra Soccer Game! ⚽

All work and no play? Not at ! Beyond our free computer training and the Abofra Art Project, we believe in the power of sports to build teamwork and character.

Held on October 13, 2018, this thrilling match showcased the incredible talents of our young players. Captained by Pablo for the White Team and Kenneth for the Black Team, the game was a true display of determination and fun.

The White Team scored the first goal, the Black Team equalized, and it all came down to penalties. In an electrifying finish, the White Team emerged victorious! 🎉👏

For today’s ( ), here’s a look back at an inspiring moment with Amewugah, a hardworking cobbler from Ogbojo - Madina, Ghana. Despite facing mental health challenges and recent loss of his father, Amewugah’s resilience shines through as he continues to make a living through his craft.

In support of his dedication, Abofra Foundation provided him with essential tools: thread, a shoemaking box, leather, shoes, nails, polish, glue, hooks, and financial aid. With these new tools, he’s ready to take on new work opportunities, and his gratitude was heartfelt.

… Throwing it back to a life-changing moment for Emmanuella! 💙 From struggling with long-sightedness (difficulty seeing nearby objects, frequent eye rubbing, and redness) to receiving the gift of sight—her world was transformed. On February 25, 2019, Cathy and her husband, Jonas, our amazing volunteers from Germany, made this change possible by gifting Emmanuella her first pair of glasses. 👓✨
