Africa stands at a defining crossroads. With its youthful population, abundant resources, and rising influence on the global stage, the continent is poised to lead the next wave of economic transformation. But for this future to be realized, it must be designed deliberately—by Africans, for Africa, and in partnership with visionary leaders and institutions who understand the urgency of now. The African Summit is not just another conference. It is a bold convening of pan-African and global leaders, thinkers, builders, and disruptors who are laying the foundation for a new Africa—one that is more integrated, more interdependent, more interconnected and globally respected. This inaugural Summit, scheduled to be held in Accra, Ghana, from December 16-17 2025, brings together selected Heads of State and Government, senior Policy Makers,
Parlimentarians, Civil Society, top-tier business executives, investors, innovators, academics and global allies to forge solutions for a more united Africa, shape policy across various strategic sectors, accelerate trade and economic integration, and position Africa as the next frontier of global power. The Summit is organised and coordinated by the African Union Economic, Social and Cultural Council (ECOSOCC), the Government of Ghana, and the Center for Strategic African Development (CENSADEV) as lead partners, and supported by leading African and Global Institutions as Sponsors and strategic partners.
