*Ruqya has been turned into a show*
The first problem our Oumma is facing at the moment is the wrong understanding of the notion of Ruqyah in its essence...🤔
Ruqyah is not meant only for the those who are sick from spiritual illnesses.
Ruqyah can be done on a someone just as a test or just for protection
More over, who has established that ruqya must be performed by a raqi?
Who decreed that it must be done in the mosque or in a center dedicated for that ? 🕌
No Ruqyah can be done anywhere by anyone when the need is felt...
The best is the the Ruqyah done by yourself or done to a family member even if it is just in your home.
While doing Ruqyah we've seen practices which are so risky and indicate how much people are far from basics knowledge of this healing...
Was hitting done instead of just passing the hand over the sick person, in accordance with the Sunnah?
*According to 'Aisha, the Prophet Muhammad, Salla Allah 3layhi wa salam, would ask for protection for some by passing his hand over them and saying: "Repel evil, O Lord of mankind, heal, for You are Ash-Shafi'i. There is no healing except through You, a healing that leaves no disease."¹ [Al-Bukhari 5750, Muslim 2191].*
Blowing or spitting with little salvia wasn't part of the practices which increases more of the effect on the case???
Aisha reported that when the Prophet was sick, he would spit on himself while reciting the protective surahs (al-ikhlas, al-falaq and an-nas) and pass his hand over himself [Al-Bukhaari 4439, Muslim 2192].
Was Ruqyah a question of long hours of recitation instead of short supplications, as the Sunnah and the hadith of the companion who recited al-Fatihah while spitting [Al-Bukhaari 5749, Muslim 2201] indicate? 📖
*It is obvious that people are upset by all these practices that are not in accordance with our religion.* which are propagated by people who are practicing without due knowledge unfortunately...
RUQYAH has been transformed into a spectacle, *while its real objective is to bring relief and appeasement to the sick person.* 🌿🤲
