We are excited … our school sheep gave birth to a boy lamb this morning and it’s trying to walk straightaway. It is so cute. Spring is definitely in the air and the glory of God has taken over.

One of our pupils did not come to school yesterday. When the driver went to pick him up in the morning the boy was standing at the window and said his grandfather (who is his main carer) has locked himself in the bedroom and also locked the main door and kept the keys so he was unable to get out of the house. The driver knocked and knocked for grandpa to open to no avail so he left and came back to the school to report so we contacted a relative whose details we had, living in Cape coast. We found out this morning when we went again to pick our pupil that grandpa had died in the room and because he had locked himself in, the young boy did not realise. When we asked why his hair is not combed he answered 'grandpa is dead and couldn't comb it'. He is in school today and is not aware of the gravity of what has happened and how it is going to impact his future. Our hearts go out for him so much.
