Accra has a surprising number of great swimming pools , from hotel pools to private training facilities.

Over the past few years we’ve visited several of them and met many passionate swim trainers who are helping more people feel comfortable in the water.
The Pool of University of Ghana really stands out to us because it has become a meeting point for swimmers and trainers from all over Accra. It’s always inspiring to see the energy around swimming there.

Over the last couple of years we’ve had the chance to connect with a number of swim trainers in Accra, and we’re hoping to see many of them again this Sunday at the swim trainer training.

It would be great to reconnect, share experiences, and keep growing the swimming community together.
