Our Speaker Contributes to the Finalisation of Parliament of Ghana’s Student Parliament Charter 🇬🇭
We are proud to share that our Speaker, Sulemana Ibrahim Musah (Musah Ibrahim Jr), had the opportunity to be invited by the Parliament of Ghana to share his expertise, experience and perspectives towards the finalisation of the Student Parliament Charter.
The engagement brought together Parliamentary Service staff and Student Speakers from UPSA, University of Ghana, All Nations University and Central University to contribute to an important process aimed at strengthening youth engagement, democratic participation and student leadership.
As student leaders, we believe that young people must not only be prepared to lead in the future; we must also be given meaningful opportunities to participate and contribute today.
As Nelson Mandela reminds us:
“Sometimes it falls upon a generation to be great. You can be that great generation. Let your greatness blossom.”
Our Speaker’s participation in this process reflects the importance of student voices in shaping institutions that promote democratic values, accountability and responsible leadership.
We commend our Speaker for representing the University of Ghana Students’ Parliament and contributing to this important national conversation. We remain committed to building a Student Parliament that continues to serve as a training ground for democratic leadership, constructive engagement and public service.
The future belongs to those who are willing to shape it. 🇬🇭
