Our cultural heritage is such that cannot be compared with any other within the South Eastern Part of Nigeria. History has it that the man “Ngwa” had three sons; Ukwu, Oha and Avosi. From these sons all the communities of this great land emanated. The name "Oha Ngwa
" implies the oneness and generality of Ngwa land irrespective of delimitation that saw Ngwa in many different local government areas and senatorial districts. Ngwaland is situated in the tropical rain forest of southern Igbo plain in the present Abia State of Nigeria. It has a population of over a million people & an area of a little over nine hundred square miles. Seven local governments of Abia state make up Ngwaland; Aba North,Aba South,Isiala Ngwa North,Isiala Ngwa South,Obi Ngwa, Osisioma, Ugwunagbo, Ukwa East and Ukwa West Local Government Area. Oha Ngwa Ghana is powerful and we believe in brotherhood. Ngwa is the largest Clan in Igboland-South Eastern Nigeria and as such "Oha Ngwa Ghana" stands out to be one of the strongest Organizations in the whole of Ghana with membership of over 100 able men and women doing wonderfully well in different spheres of live. Oha Ngwa Progressive Union is a fully registered organization and being guided by a constitution. The Impact of Oha Ngwa Ghana in different Organizations in Ghana cannot be over emphasized. Oha Ngwa Ghana has brought smile on many faces especially its members. The oneness, love, unity and happiness shared every month as this men and women gather leaves a lasting impression in the hearts of its members and creates a desire to look forward to the next gathering.
