A few weeks ago, we welcomed a remarkable group of young girls to the Tech4Girls HACSA Campus for the start of an exciting journey.

While we captured some of the highlights from Day 1, this time we wanted to share something even more meaningful: their own reflections.

From first impressions and new friendships to the excitement of exploring technology in a new environment, these are the voices of the girls themselves as they look back on their first day at camp.

Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and confidence remind us why programmes like Tech4Girls matter.

Press play and experience Day 1 through their eyes.

Today, we celebrate not just our Patron, but a legend.

For 97 years, James Barnor has inspired generations through his artistry, vision, and dedication to preserving African stories. Through his lens, he captured moments that have become part of our collective history, helping to shape how Africa is seen and remembered around the world.

We are honoured to call him our Patron and grateful for his continued support of HACSA Foundation.

Happy 97th Birthday, James Barnor. Thank you for a lifetime of excellence, inspiration, and cultural impact.
