INTRODUCTION

Centre for Citizens Empowerment – Ghana (CCE-Ghana) is a Non- governmental organization founded in 2013 and registered under the Article 14 of Ghana companies code 1963 (Act179). Ghana, a lower middle country has challenges with socio-economic developmental issues. Paramount among which access to justice which is inextricably linked to the special circumstances of vulnerable groups s

uch as the Poor, Women, Person with Disabilities (PWDs), Persons Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHAs) and other social disadvantaged persons. Such persons face economic, social, cultural, and attitudinal barriers in their quest to access justice and the effects of limited or no access to justice for these groups can be debilitating. This NGO was founded with the focus to providing services to the underprivileged and underserved in the societies who seek redress through the various justice systems. CCE - Ghana believes that justice is the fundamental human rights which should be enjoyed by all members of the society without stress or fear.
