JOSEPH OSAE-ADDO was born in Ghana, West Africa, and trained at the Architectural Association in London. He worked in Finland, the UK, and the USA, setting up his practice in Los Angeles in 1991. He was a founding partner of the A+D Museum, Los Angeles, whose mission is to advance knowledge and to enable people to appreciate and understand architecture and design. Joe ran his studio in Los Angeles until he moved back to his native country of Ghana after a visit in 2000. At that time Ghana “had just elected a new president, and Addo sensed a ‘democratic fervor’ that had not existed before. ‘There was an atmosphere of optimism and euphoria, and I wanted to be part of it,’ he says.” - https://www.architecturalrecord.com/articles/6423-joe-addo

The Angelo Donghia Foundation, Inc., a privately held not-for-profit organization created under the will of the late Angelo Donghia, provides support for two distinct fields: advancement of education in the field of interior design and initiatives pertaining to the discovery of the causes of AIDS and its related diseases, and their methods of treatment.
