The MOGUL Project is an NGO which has been set up primarily to Make Ordinary Ghanians Ultimate Legends. "By unleashing the creativity and ideas of young people all over the world, we can create the successful products and businesses of tomorrow," stated Prime Minister Brown. This quote aptly sums up the mission of The MOGUL Project which seeks to “create indigenous capitalists who can seize opport
unities to create wealth and prosperity within the body of Christ and to advance the Kingdom of God”. In fact, most positive changes have occurred due to the multiplying effect inspired by the single act of one individual. Empowering a corps of trained, informed and inspired youth to take on both small and big challenges is an effective strategy that benefits the world and the youth involved. It’s one thing to identify a problem, it’s another to creatively solve it; therein lies the case for The MOGUL Project. Our purpose is to train emerging change agents, just as we train doctors, mechanics and engineers. The MOGUL Project will identify the core competencies of effective leadership and enterprise creation into a suite of training and workshop offerings, both site-based and online, to educate the youth citizenry to be more effective in creating positive changes in the country. Considering the complexities of today’s challenges, our efforts will be sustainable in order to make a lasting impact in the country and the world. The MOGUL project will operate as a virtual University and is expected to span for a period not exceeding 12 months. The project will enlist a minimum of 100 fresh “MOGULS” whose ages are between 23 to 29 years of age. The content of the 12-month incubation cycle will involve the following:
QTR 1: Changing the mind set and preparing a strategic life plan
QTR 2: Inspiring creativity and Innovation in creating ideas
QTR 3: Structuring the ideas in the form of a business model and a business plan
QTR 4: Transforming the idea into a business enterprise
Year 2: Growing the enterprise through practical “eyes-on” mentoring
