Street Smart Foundation is a local based ART & MEDIA organization founded in 2013 in Nima, the heart of capital city Accra Ghana. Which aims at discovering, grooming and promoting young creative minded by creating network, collaborations, partnerships, exposing them to new opportunities and provides a creative learning space for the youth. We intend to introduce the use of Art and Culture, Media
and Technology in every aspect of the work we do with the youth in local communities starting from Nima City, Accra and beyond through photography, Art and entertainment, story writing and telling, filmmaking, community engagement and education. We also aimed at providing access to tools and resources to enable the local communities tell their own stories and share these stories via multimedia with friends and families and to the whole world. Through workshops, seminars, inter-cultural dialogues, public projects, festivals and media education, it will enable us to give the youth the skills they need to be active storytellers, mentorship, technological friendly and good writers in their communities.
