By Black Emancipation, we mean the idea of inspiring the youth of Africa in particular to believe they are capable, not inferior and also to discover themselves as potential human beings capable of achieving everything. By Emancipation, we would like to inspire the African child to come to understand him/herself, his/her capabilities and problems to enable him/her stand up to the challenges that
life poses before him/her. It is a new spirit of hope to be implanted in the African Child to enable him/her display his/her unique and extraordinary talents hidden in him/her. It is a process to create a new sense of self belief, pride, hope, and confidence; a new sense of responsibility and courage to master and control his nature in order to create a meaningful life to live. In short, the African child must become self conscious being able to discover his/her potentials and able to live up to the expectations as expected from all human species. This philosophy or idea when infused in the African child will enable him to rediscover himself and will prepare him/her against all odds which hold his potentials and talents back and will also control his destiny without frustrations, dependency or being servitude to another human being. He will then delve into experiment with life, become more adventurous and be able to rub shoulders with any other tribe or race with no trait of inferiority complex. This is a new story to be told to the African child of today as a psychological ingredient to remove all sort of inferiority complex which may be inflicted upon him or her. It is now therefore necessary to re-orient the African Child, in spirit, indoctrinate, put into him new hope, confidence and courage him to rise up and walk into the 21st century with full sense of full being, conscious of his race capable to take life into his own hands and get prepared for any eventualities and consequences. This Academy has chosen football or soccer as a platform to inform and teach the African Child to remove any false perception or notion that, he or she is not capable of mastering him/her life. The Sports Academy will produce healthy and intellectual students who will excel in all faculties of life. The result will be the total emancipation and removal of self-defeatism if any and will be replaced with the slogan “YES WE ARE CAPABLE” because the problem of the African today is absolutely a MAN MADE ONE and therefore all efforts must be directed towards total mental emancipation, the overhauling of the African mind and ushering a New African into the 21st Century. As I said earlier on, Black Emancipation Football Academy has chosen football as a catalyst or platform to inspire the African mind to see himself as important, equal to all men so that whatever he endeavors to do he does it with honest and to perfection. So, these students who find themselves here in this Academy will be taught to embrace a new sense of determination, self belief, courage, and self-discipline to learn hard to become professional footballers to showcase the African-Ethiopian genius of antiquity and display the true elegance, African- self pride and become the true ambassadors of Africa to enable Africa take up her rightful place among the comity of nations.
