To be the arm of God’s unfeigned love to the dying prison world and to transform lives who have been inmates to the true service of God.
To offer prison support and rehabilitative programs to inmates and ex-convicts through the various bodies and prison chaplain to reforming these social victims.
Our Objectives
HOH was established for the following aims:
§ To demonstrate the love of Christ to the dying prison world.
§ To extend the hand of comfort and fellowship with inmates of Ghana prisons.
§ To share the gospel of Jesus Christ with fellow men and women in the Ghanaian prisons.
§ To provide support for the acquiring of equipment to train inmates in employable skills such as carpentry, ICT, tailoring, basketry, bakery, batik tye and dye
§ To provide financial supports to these precious inmates through donations of food, drinks and other materials.
Our Philosophy
HOH was incorporated in 2013 after a visit to Akuse Prison by Mr. Kirk- Mensah Thomas with some presentations from his boss of BAFLA Group of companies. Mr. Kirk Mensah was greatly moved by the Spirit to establish a foundation to administer the love of God in kind to inmates of Ghanaian prisons.
HOH foundation thus is mandated to touch the hearts of prison inmates with the hand of love and care. We feverishly mobilize every acquirable resource to the demonstration of love of God onto these inmates.
Our Values
Love, Integrity, Speed, Virtue, Compassion
Our Modus Operandi
Hand on Heart Foundation operates by prison visitations in every quarter of the year as our logistics can allow. The programmes of the foundation run in the form of mobilizations of funds, items both consumable and non-consumable from various avenues and present them to inmates on set dates.
Our Funding
The funding of these projects comes from faithful and loyal partners like you, free donations from dependable associates, sponsors and other free donations from friends and families.
The government funding for the inmates is $0.45 (GHS1.80) per person daily. This leaves so long a room for help to fill this space of insufficiency.
Our Appeal
We as an organisation believe we have been set to fill considerably this vacancy in helping the needs of these loved ones who are denied of the right of free movement.
We also believe that we are set together with you in the same vein of helping the needs of the disadvantaged and under privileged in our communities. We believe together we can touch the bleeding hearts of these inmates with the hand of love and comfort.
Our Appreciation
We greatly value your attention to us and the anticipated consideration of this proposal for a lasting partnership and sponsorship.
