I was running errands in my neighbourhood when I saw two young boys happily walking together. Their joy and innocence made me stop to talk to them.

Both are 9 years old and dream of becoming soldiers someday. While talking, I noticed one of them had an empty school bag. He quietly told me he only had one exercise book because his father was still trying to get him more.

That touched my heart deeply.

Thankfully, I had just two exercise books left from my foundation at home, and I gave all to him. The smile on his face made me so emotional.

Before leaving, I advised them to study hard and never give up on their dreams.

Sometimes, it’s really the little things. 🤍 ❤️

We are proud to celebrate our Founder and Executive Director, on being awarded the Honorary Diploma of “Sign of Peace” by The Chair of Peace - Assisi as part of the 2026 Signs of Peace Award.
This international recognition honors her commitment to advocacy, inclusive education, and creating opportunities for children with special needs through the work of Empowered Kids Foundation.
As an organization approaching just two years of operation, this milestone encourages us to continue building a more inclusive society where every child is seen, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Empowered Kids Foundation paid a courtesy visit to the Municipal Chief Executive of the Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly to officially introduce the works and impact of Empowered Kids Foundation and also brief him on our upcoming Oral Hygiene Workshop within the constituency.

We are grateful for the warm reception and look forward to meaningful collaborations that will continue to promote the wellbeing, inclusion, and development of children in our communities ❤️

Every child deserves proper oral healthcare, especially children with special needs who need extra care and support.
Our upcoming Oral Hygiene Workshop aims to create awareness, educate parents and caregivers, and promote healthy oral care habits for every child.
