Awisi Foundation Giving back to the orphanage home that raised me, and uplifting others along the way. ❤️ I can’t thank God enough for them!

I grew up at Nectar Orphanage Home in Odumase-Krobo in the Eastern part of Ghana. A lot happens within our environment and it is true that the life orphans/underprivileged children live is a big challenge. As difficult as it was, our orphanage was attended by volunteers and humanitarians from around the world. Their love for us, kindness and long discussions, sowed hope in my heart that there is a

way out and that life goes on. After university I started Awisi Foundation as a way to give back. Through this initiative, thirty children have benefitted from an educational sponsorship, of which five are in university at the moment. Education is actually my main focus for this foundation. This is because, growing up in an orphanage, the care takers can take a lot of things from you but the one thing no one can take is your education. Even though education cannot be downplayed, not everyone can afford the costs. Some people find it hard to get money to feed themselves; let alone get quality education. A good way to ensure that poverty doesn’t deny such people access to quality education is to start a non-profit that generates funds to sponsor their education.

THANK YOU FOR MAKING “WEAR TO LEARN” A BEAUTIFUL REALITY 💙

Wear to Learn: The School Uniform Project by Awisi Foundation, in partnership with has been completed and it’s all because of your kindness. This is our second Wear to Learn project, and once again, you showed up for us in the most incredible way.

Because of you, children in Sissala East, Upper West Region in Ghana are now stepping into school with confidence and joy. What may look like just a uniform is so much more it’s hope, it’s belonging.

Kind people are my absolute favorite kind of people and this journey has reminded me that there are still so many of you in the world. Thank you for being the reason a child smiles a little brighter and walks a little prouder.

We are deeply, deeply grateful.

From all of us at Awisi Foundation and thank you for choosing kindness. You’ve truly changed lives. God bless you! 🫶🏾🤗

This is only the beginning ✨

We have officially begun taking measurements for Phase 2 of our “Wear to Learn Project” in Sissala East in the Upper West Region.

Through the Awisi Foundation, in partnership with we are working to provide proper school uniforms for children who need them most.

For many of these children, this is more than a uniform. It is confidence and the freedom to learn without feeling left out. We are deeply grateful to our partners, supporters and everyone who continues to believe in this vision.

Together, we are not just making uniforms, we are making impact. ❤️

We are happy to share that Bediako, the 8-year-old boy living with cerebral palsy, successfully underwent orthopaedic surgery and has now been discharged from the hospital.

All his medical bills have been fully covered by Awisi Foundation, made possible through the kindness and generosity of 2 anonymous donors.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for showing love, giving hope and helping this little boy. May God bless every hand that gave and every heart that prayed 🙏💛

Three children under the care of Awisi Foundation have just begun their journey in boarding Senior High School! 🎉

We’re so proud of them and overjoyed to see how far they’ve come. This wouldn’t have been possible without the love and generosity of our amazing sponsors. Thank you for believing in them and in us. Together, we’re making a difference, one child at a time. 💙

11th October is a day we won’t forget in a hurry.

Our visit to Nectar Orphanage was more than a stop , it was a heart connection.

We were welcomed by Ms Rebecca Nomo, Founder, Awisi Foundation and her lovely family with radiant smiles, contagious laughter, and pure love. Every hug, every conversation, every muddy moment 😅 reminded us why we do what we do to bring hope, care, and joy to children who deserve the very best.

Their discipline, warmth, and joy were deeply inspiring. It truly felt like home a place where faith comes alive through action and community.

We left covered in mud, but filled with gratitude and a renewed sense of purpose. This is what looks like.
