Today, the Ministry of Foreign and Regional Integration proudly joined the global community in commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the United Nations in Ghana with a flag-raising ceremony in Accra.

Digital Safety & SRH Advocacy Training for Young Advocates.

We’re excited to share that Naa Yemoteley Limbrains, a dedicated member of the Program Team, represented Foundation For Environmental Watch in a 2-day “Digital Safety and SRH Advocacy Workshop” organized by the Alliance for Reproductive Health Rights (ARHR).

This was designed to strengthen the resilience and of , empowering them to share safe, credible, and youth-friendly Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) information — while protecting themselves and their peers in the digital space.

Day 1 focused on Digital Safety, led by Miss Georgette Kissi from the University of Ghana, Legon University of Ghana, who shared powerful insights on online protection, privacy, and responsible digital engagement.

Day 2 centered on SRHR Content Creation, facilitated by Mrs. Dorcas M. Aggrey from UNFPA Ghana who guided participants on crafting , -centered, and engaging messages for and .

Working Visit to the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC), Accra – Ghana.

A delegation from the SDG 4 - Quality Education Sub-Platform of the CSOs Platform on SDGs paid a working visit to the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) in Accra to explore strategic collaboration and partnership opportunities toward the commemoration of , which also marks the 80th Anniversary of the United Nations.

The engagement was highly productive and inspiring, centered on the shared theme for this year’s celebration — “Education Shapes the Future.” Discussions focused on strengthening joint efforts to promote inclusive, equitable, and quality education as a driver of sustainable development in Ghana. Both parties reaffirmed their to advancing the role of in achieving the (SDGs) and fostering in .

The meeting provided a valuable platform to align national-level with the 's global mission, emphasizing the need for collaborative action among civil society, government institutions, and development partners to empower communities through and .

The delegation was led by Mr. Joseph Afangbe, Convener of the SDG 4 Sub-Platform and of the CSO Platform on SDGs Ghana. SUPPORT GAVI CDS3 PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

The Executive Director of Foundation For Environmental Watch, Kekesi Defoe, who is a member of the Greater Accra Regional Executive Committee of GCNH presented some medical diagnostic equipments on behalf of the Ghana Coalition of NGOs in Health (GCNH), to Ledzokuku District Health Directorate to support the GAVI CDS3 Project implementation.

These were received on behalf of the directorate by the District Health Director, Dr. Gifty Ofori Ansah. She expressed her sincere gratitude for the provision of the equipments to support project implementation. These tools, made up of , and , will greatly enhance our capacity to deliver quality primary health care, strengthen disease surveillance and improve vaccination services across our facilities.

The Ghana Coalition of NGOs in Health, The Ministry of Health,The Ghana Health Service and FEW, will continue to move closer to achieving better health outcomes for all.

Ongoing: Strengthening Inclusion Through Rights-Based Tools.

The Executive Director, Kekesi Defoe and two Program Team members, Gifty and Regina Amarh are in a 3-day strategic Review Workshop in Koforidua, Eastern Region, on the development of Gender and Human Rights-Based Information, Education & Communication (IE&C) Materials, Guidelines, SOPs, and Peer Engagement Manuals for Vulnerable Populations.

The Implementating Partners on the OVP Project under the Global Fund were tasked to review the various documents put together by volunteers a week ago. This is to ensure a collective, inclusive and people-centered responses to public health challenges in Ghana.

This workshop was organized by Ghana HIV&AIDS Network (GHANET)
