At Bentum, change is happening one lesson at a time.

Our financial literacy sessions are equipping the beneficiaries of our Women Entrepreneurs Financial Literacy Initiative (WEFLI) in Bentum with the tools to understand money, make informed decisions, and grow their businesses with confidence. From tracking expenses to planning for the future, every class is a step toward independence and long-term stability.

Because when women understand their finances, they don’t just survive: they thrive.

We are grateful to Otto per Mille Valdese for the support in making the dreams of these women possible.

From opportunity to impact: Grace’s journey continues to inspire us.

Grace was among the first group of women who received support under the Women Entrepreneurs Financial Literacy Initiative (WEFLI) when the program was introduced in Akufful Krodua. As a dedicated farmer and gari producer, she has worked tirelessly to grow her business and provide for her family.

Today, Grace is recognized as one of the community’s leading gari producers, demonstrating the power of resilience, consistency, and women’s economic empowerment.

Her story is a reflection of what happens when women are given the right support, financial guidance, and opportunity to thrive.

We are proud to celebrate Grace and the many hardworking women transforming their communities through WEFLI.

We are deeply grateful to Otto per Mille Valdese for the support in transforming the lives of these women.

Collaborations that grow possibilities!

We had a productive follow-up visit to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA) Department of the Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly, exploring a strategic collaboration to strengthen the impact of our Women Entrepreneurs Financial Literacy Initiative (WEFLI).

From enhancing business branding to improving market accessibility and supporting value addition, this engagement marks a significant step forward in empowering our beneficiaries, especially our hardworking women farmers and gari producers, to build resilient and sustainable livelihoods.

We are deeply grateful to the department for their continuous support and for honouring us with their presence at our Annual WEFLI Conference.
Special appreciation to Madam Vivian Turkson (Deputy Director) and Mr. Ebenezer Djan (PPRSD Officer) for their warm reception and commitment to advancing this shared vision.

Together, we are not just supporting businesses: we are building futures. Otto per Mille Valdese

In the fields where hard work meets hope, partnership makes all the difference.

Through our Women Entrepreneurs Financial Literacy Initiative (WEFLI), husbands are standing side by side with their wives, supporting their ideas, encouraging their growth, and contributing to the journey toward financial stability and independence. Together, they are not just cultivating crops but building stronger futures for their families.

When support is shared, success is multiplied. Many thanks to Otto per Mille Valdese for the funding support to make this vision possible.

Check-Ins First, Science Always!

At our Girls in STEM Mentorship Program, every session begins with meaningful check-ins. We listen to our mentees; hearing about the challenges they face, the successes they have celebrated, and the questions they have. This ensures that each girl feels supported, valued, and ready to learn.

From hands-on experiments to problem-solving activities, we guide them to explore STEM confidently, think critically, and dream bigger. Every session is more than just learning science; it is about building resilience, fostering curiosity, and cultivating future innovation leaders. Otto per Mille Valdese

She came to learn…"Now she leads!

Comfort began as a curious and determined mentee in the inaugural cohort of our Girls In STEM Mentorship Program. Today, she has stepped into a new role: a junior mentor, inspiring and guiding others just like her.
This is what impact looks like. This is what growth feels like.

Comfort is living proof that when girls are empowered with knowledge and opportunity, they don’t just succeed; they become leaders, role models, and changemakers.

The journey continues… and she’s now lighting the way for others. Otto per Mille Valdese

Exploring. Questioning. Becoming!

After an engaging session with our dedicated mentors in our Girls In STEM Mentorship Program, our girls experienced the true dynamism of science; learning that STEM is not just about formulas in books, but about curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and solving real-life problems.

Each interaction sparked new ideas, built confidence, and opened their minds to endless possibilities within the world of science.

We are not just teaching science; we are nurturing bold, confident young girls who are ready to lead, innovate, and shape the future, one session at a time. Otto per Mille Valdese
