Women's Inspiration Wednesday!

This week, we celebrate Kabisata Mohammed Iddrisu, a student nurse and dedicated mentor in our Girls In STEM Mentorship Program. Through her role as a mentor, she continues to inspire and guide young girls to pursue their goals in STEM with confidence, discipline, and purpose.

Kabisata recently extended her impact beyond mentorship by volunteering with our Women Entrepreneurs Financial Literacy Initiative (WEFLI) team. Empowerment Beyond Finance: Supporting Women Entrepreneurs Every Step of the Way!

At Patriots Ghana, we believe that true empowerment goes beyond financial support; it requires continuous engagement, mentorship, and guidance. Through our one-on-one engagements with beneficiaries of our Women Entrepreneurs Financial Literacy Initiative (WEFLI), we are creating safe and supportive spaces to understand their business progress, challenges, aspirations, and areas where additional support may be needed.

These personalized interactions allow us to monitor growth, strengthen relationships, provide tailored financial literacy support, and encourage beneficiaries to remain committed to building sustainable businesses that can transform their families and communities.

During these engagements, beneficiaries shared inspiring stories of resilience, growth, and how the initiative continues to have a positive impact on their livelihoods. We also discussed business management, savings culture, record keeping, loan repayment, and strategies for business expansion.

At Patriots Ghana, we remain committed to empowering women entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills, and support systems needed to thrive economically and socially.

We are most grateful to Otto per Mille Valdese for the funding support in making this vision possible.

From opportunity to impact: Grace’s journey continues to inspire us.

Grace was among the first group of women who received support under the Women Entrepreneurs Financial Literacy Initiative (WEFLI) when the program was introduced in Akufful Krodua. As a dedicated farmer and gari producer, she has worked tirelessly to grow her business and provide for her family.

Today, Grace is recognized as one of the community’s leading gari producers, demonstrating the power of resilience, consistency, and women’s economic empowerment.

Her story is a reflection of what happens when women are given the right support, financial guidance, and opportunity to thrive.

We are proud to celebrate Grace and the many hardworking women transforming their communities through WEFLI.

We are deeply grateful to Otto per Mille Valdese for the support in transforming the lives of these women.

Collaborations that grow possibilities!

We had a productive follow-up visit to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA) Department of the Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly, exploring a strategic collaboration to strengthen the impact of our Women Entrepreneurs Financial Literacy Initiative (WEFLI).

From enhancing business branding to improving market accessibility and supporting value addition, this engagement marks a significant step forward in empowering our beneficiaries, especially our hardworking women farmers and gari producers, to build resilient and sustainable livelihoods.

We are deeply grateful to the department for their continuous support and for honouring us with their presence at our Annual WEFLI Conference.
Special appreciation to Madam Vivian Turkson (Deputy Director) and Mr. Ebenezer Djan (PPRSD Officer) for their warm reception and commitment to advancing this shared vision.

Together, we are not just supporting businesses: we are building futures. Otto per Mille Valdese

In the fields where hard work meets hope, partnership makes all the difference.

Through our Women Entrepreneurs Financial Literacy Initiative (WEFLI), husbands are standing side by side with their wives, supporting their ideas, encouraging their growth, and contributing to the journey toward financial stability and independence. Together, they are not just cultivating crops but building stronger futures for their families.

When support is shared, success is multiplied. Many thanks to Otto per Mille Valdese for the funding support to make this vision possible.
