The Ghana Insurers Association (GIA) wishes to assure the insuring public that, despite the disruptions caused by today’s heavy rains and flooding in parts of the country, *all licensed insurance companies* remain operational and continue to provide essential services.

In line with the Government’s directive encouraging remote working where necessary, many insurance companies have activated their business continuity arrangements to ensure uninterrupted service to policyholders.

If you need to report a claim, make an enquiry, or access any insurance-related service, please contact your insurance company through its available communication channels.

Should you experience any difficulty accessing your insurer or obtaining claims-related assistance, the Ghana Insurers Association is available to support you.

The 2026 GIA Seminar marks the 4th edition of this program, and the past editions have been very successful. The seminar hosted more than 300 participants from the insurance industry, financial institutions, academia, regulatory bodies and other related sectors both locally and internationally.
