Some read slower. Some think differently.
But all have the power to build, create, and inspire.

Today, we celebrate YOU. đź’ś

“Just focus.”
“Try harder.”

If it were that simple… it would already be done.

ADHD is not about trying harder —
it’s about how the brain works.

Understanding changes everything.
Let’s move from judgement to support 💜

đź’ś At Dyslexia Ghana, we are committed to raising awareness and supporting individuals with learning differences through understanding, advocacy, and practical intervention.

Many people believe that dyslexic individuals see words moving on the page… 👀

But that’s not always true.

Dyslexia is a learning difference that affects how the brain processes language, reading, spelling, and writing.

The experience of words moving, blurring, or causing discomfort is often linked to Irlen Syndrome, a visual processing difficulty that can also cause headaches and light sensitivity.

Some individuals may have both, but many do not.

❌ So let’s be clear:
Words moving on the page does NOT mean dyslexia.

đź’ś Every learner is different.
đź’ś Every learner deserves understanding and support.

No one tells you this about ADHD…

It’s Not laziness.
It’s Not lack of effort.

A busy mind.
Starting… stopping.... forgetting…
even when it really matters.

If you’ve ever felt like this, you’re not alone…💜

Not all dyslexic people see words moving đź‘€

That experience is often linked to Irlen Syndrome, not dyslexia itself.

Dyslexia is about how the brain processes language—not just what the eyes see.

Let’s stop the myths and start understanding 💜

You’re not broken. You just learn differently.”
For every child who was told to “try harder”…
For every student who felt left behind…
It was never about laziness or lack of effort.

Sometimes, it’s just a brain that works differently.
