This has enabled YOUDRIC to implement effective programs in the areas of education, child rights, sexual health, HIV prevention and income generation.

We assist Ghanaian Children and Youth to reach their full potential; delivering diverse interventions in Health, Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship, Youth Leadership and Networking. Youth Development, Research and Innovation Centre (YOUDRIC) is a Ghanaian registered NGO ( -38,521) that was founded on the belief that development can be effectively achieved and sustained through the active

participation of young people in the planning, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development initiatives. Since its inception in October 2010, YOUDRIC has implemented a range of poverty alleviation projects across Ghana and provided a sought after consulting service to NGOs, public and private schools, faith-based organisations, government departments and International Aid organisations. YOUDRIC’s innovative joint focus on facilitating their own programmes and providing consulting services to other similarly focused organisations has ensured a high level of continuity and cooperation throughout YOUDRIC’s regions of operation. YOUDRIC draws on the knowledge of a small, highly skilled core staff and the services of over 100 dedicated volunteers. Strong support from the communities in which the organisation operates, combined with the generosity of local, national and international donors, enables YOUDRIC to design and implement programs that make a real difference to the lives of young people, their families and communities. By engaging a range of stakeholders from the communities in which they work, YOUDRIC has been able to create dynamic youth development programs and support structures for all young people, regardless of ethnicity, religion or gender.

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

Youth Development, Research and Innovation Centre (YOUDRIC) is a Ghanaian registered NGO with certificate of incorporation number G-38,521 and certificate of recognition number D.S.W/ 5746 which was incorporated in 2011 on the belief that development can be achieved and sustained through the active participation of young people in the planning, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development initiatives. We nurture young people and bring innovative youth development practices to the Ghanaian community.

YOUDRIC is a community-builder delivering resources for children and youth. We partner with young people, families, schools, and communities to create dynamic youth development programmes and support structures for all young people. YOUDRIC draws on the knowledge of a highly skilled full time staff and the services of over 200 dedicated members of the organization to customize, develop and facilitate effective local programmes. We successfully garner support from businesses, organizations and government, social service providers and volunteer groups. We work in partnership with public and private schools, civil society organizations, faith-based groups, community-based organizations, international development partners, other youth development programmes to be efficacious, to do things that make a real difference in the life of a young person, their family and community.

Nurturing Healthy Lifestyles among Children and Youth aged 8-35 years by developing and implementing health promotion programs in collaboration with key stakeholders at all levels

Facilitating strong school-community partnerships for improved quality, access and retention in public basic schools

Galvanizing local, national and international support towards preparing Children and Youth aged 12-35 years for an Employable Future & Upward Mobility through Career Guidance, Enterprise Development, Innovation and Employment.

Strengthening Civic Responsibility through Youth Leadership Development, Youth Participation in Democratic processes, Volunteerism and Community Service.
