Training our staff in Emotional Intelligence.

In our work, we hold space daily for parents who are grieving, angry, overwhelmed, or hopeful. We absorb heavy stories while remembering that our staff are human too.
That is why emotional intelligence is essential not optional.
We must regulate our emotions, listen without absorbing everything, show empathy with boundaries, and respond to pain without becoming defensive.
Emotional intelligence helps us pause before we react and that pause makes all the difference.
