SDGs). From grassroots initiatives to large-scale projects, these unsung heroes are making remarkable strides in creating a more sustainable and equitable future for all. Recognizing the need to shine a spotlight on these remarkable efforts, the maiden edition of the African SDGs Excellence Awards (AfSDGEAwards) has been launched. This international award scheme is focused on celebrating excellence in sustainability within the African context. The primary aim of the AfSDGEAwards is to honor the outstanding achievements of individuals, projects, organizations, and African countries that have made significant contributions towards the advancement of the UN SDGs across the continent.
