Celebrating the Women of Rotary Club of Accra La East

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we proudly recognize the remarkable women of the Rotary Club of Accra La East. In just nine years, our club has had the privilege of six women Presidents, a testament to the strength and leadership of women in our club.

Today, we celebrate every woman in our club — those who lead from the front, those who serve quietly behind the scenes, and those who inspire through their dedication to Service Above Self. Each of you embodies courage, compassion, and commitment to community.

May we continue to rise as change agents, transforming our communities through service and leadership.

Reading Project at 5BN School, Burma Camp

Last week, the Rotary Club of Accra La East, embarked on a reading project at the 5BN School in Burma Camp.

The initiative focused on enhancing children’s reading skills through interactive reading sessions, storytelling, and engagement with age-appropriate books. The activity was well received by the pupils and contributed positively to promoting literacy, confidence, and a love for reading.

This project aligns with Rotary’s focus on Basic Education and Literacy and reflects our club’s commitment to community engagement and social impact.
