Fellow Citizens, Friends of Ghana, and the Dedicated Hearts of the PAM Foundation,
Sixty-nine years ago, the torch of freedom was lit on this soil, signaling a new dawn for Africa. Today, as we stand on the threshold of our 70th year as a sovereign nation, we celebrate not just the liberty of the past, but the responsibility of the present.
At the PAM Foundation, our mission has always been rooted in the belief that independence is truly realized when every Ghanaian has the opportunity to thrive. Political freedom is the foundation, but social empowerment, health, and education are the pillars that hold our house together.
As we celebrate today, let us reflect on the theme of "Active Citizenship." Independence is not a finished product we inherited; it is a living project that requires our daily commitment.
To our volunteers and partners: Your selfless service is the highest form of patriotism.
To the vulnerable in our communities: You are the heart of our mission, and your resilience inspires our nation’s progress.
To the youth: You are the architects of the next 70 years. Let your innovation be guided by compassion.
The PAM Foundation remains steadfast in its commitment to building a Ghana where no one is left behind. We believe in a nation where our collective wealth is measured by the well-being of our most humble citizens.
As the drums sound and our flag flies high today, let us renew our vow to serve Ghana with all our strength and with all our hearts.
God bless the PAM Foundation, and may God bless our homeland, Ghana.
Happy 69th Independence Day!
