THE FIRST PRAYER WATCH - (6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.)
It is the “Foundation” Of Night.
The evening is a time for us to relax and be with family.
It is also a time when we reflect upon what occurred during the day (good or bad) and pray a prayer of thanksgiving to God for being with us and bringing us through it.
(1 Chronicles 23:30).

IT'S A TIME FOR MEDITATION

In addition to reflection and prayer, the first prayer watch is a time to meditate on God’s Word.
Meditation quiets our emotions, realigns our mind, and frees us to hear God speaking to us. What we could not hear clearly earlier in the day, we begin to hear during this time.
During this watch, ask God to give you clear directions for the next day and insight into His call on your life.

IT'S A PERIOD FOR COVENANT RENEWAL WITH GOD.

God’s covenant is found in the Bible and one of the many covenantal benefits we have is healing.

Jesus healed many sick and demon-possessed people during this time.
Mark 1:32
Luke 4:40

This watch is usually for those who have a strong apostolic calling and anointing to break strongholds and walls.

At this time, seasoned Christians are determined to do mighty things with boldness in the Lord.

If we begin to pray strategically during this watch with the Holy Spirit’s leading, we can prevent the kingdom of darkness from releasing curses on the new day.

8 PRAYER WATCHES.
All Christians have a prayer watch, even though we may not be aware of it.

If you are repeatedly awakened at a particular time at night or led to pray at a certain time in the day, then this would be your prayer watch.
In other words, this is the time God has called you to petition Him in prayer or to intercede on behalf of someone.

Every prayer watch has a purpose. Therefore, understanding each watch will help you know the most strategic times to pray for God’s will to be done in your life and in the lives of others.

CHARACTER OF THE RIGHTEOUS
EZEKIEL 18:5-9
But if a man is righteous,
and does what is lawful and right,

Acts Of Righteousness
​And does not eat at the shrines on the mountains.
​Or lift up his eyes to the idols
of the house of Israel.
3. Does not defile his neighbour’s wife.
4. Or go near a menstruous woman.
5. And does not oppress anyone.
6. Restores the debtor’s pledge
to him.
7. Does not commit robbery.
8. Gives his bread to the hungry,
and covers the naked with a garment.
9. If he does not lend at usury(interest) or take increase, 10. Withdraws his hand from evil.
11. Administers true justice
between man and man.
12. Walks in my statutes and keeps my judgments, to behave faithfully.
HE IS RIGHTEOUS;
He will surely live, says the Lord God.
