About Okuafo Foundation
Okuafo Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering smallholder farmers in Africa through technology, research, and sustainable agriculture practices. We are launching new community-driven agri-labs and need a dynamic, field-oriented Agronomist to help improve productivity and resilience in local farming systems.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical training and on-field guidance to farmers on crop production, soil health, pest and disease management, and climate-smart practices
* Conduct trials, collect agronomic data, and assess effectiveness of different fertilizer and pest control strategies
* Collaborate with our tech and monitoring teams to validate on-ground impact
* Support in designing demonstration plots and farm-based learning programs
* Write concise field reports and present data to project leads

Requirements
* BSc or MSc in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or related field
* Minimum 2 years of hands-on field experience, preferably in Northern Ghana
* Strong knowledge of tropical crops, soil types, and IPM (Integrated Pest Management)
* Ability to communicate effectively with rural farmers and write basic reports in English
* Fluency in local language (e.g., Gurune, Kusaal, or Buli) is an advantage
* Passion for community development and agricultural innovation
