This week, under the Youth 4 Governance Project, our volunteers in the Northern Region met with key stakeholders in a series of engagements aimed at strengthening collaboration, driving collective action, and deepening youth participation in local governance.

The meetings created a platform for meaningful exchange, where volunteers not only shared perspectives but also learned from the experiences and insights of stakeholders.

These engagements continue to shape more informed, confident, and effective youth-led action at the community level.

It’s been two weeks since we officially turned 30 and launched ; and the energy still lingers. It was a powerful moment that brought together young people, partners, and changemakers to celebrate 30 years of empowering youth voices and meaningful participation.

📸 Here’s a look back at some of the moments that made it unforgettable.

And this is only the beginning…

Meet Our volunteers who are leading youth governance in their communities.

Within the Upper West and Northern regions, our volunteers are leading civic conversations, educating young people on governance processes, and creating spaces for dialogue between youth and local decision-makers.
Their mandate goes beyond awareness, it includes simplifying governance, encouraging participation in District Assembly processes, and supporting young people to confidently raise issues that affect their communities.

Through consistent engagement and peer-led education, these volunteers help to build a generation of informed, active citizens ready to contribute to inclusive and accountable governance.

Today is World Health Day.

Health is more than a personal matter; it is shaped by our environment, the systems we rely on, and the science we trust. From the food we eat and water we drink, to the medicines and vaccines that protect us, science guides every step in keeping communities healthy.

This year’s theme, “Together for Health. Stand with Science.”, reminds us that protecting health requires collaboration across people, animals, plants, and our planet. This is the One Health approach: the health of one depends on the health of all.

At Curious Minds-Ghana, we believe a healthier future begins with knowledge, action, and inclusion. By sharing what we learn and supporting science-led solutions, we can shape policies and practices that benefit everyone; today and for generations to come.

Invest in science. Protect communities. Care for the planet. A healthier future starts with us.
