🥋 GTF NOTICE OF VETTING OF CANDIDATES - 2026 EXECUTIVE ELECTIONS

Dear Sirs,

Please take Notice that the vetting of all candidates contesting in the 2026 Ghana Taekwondo Federation Executive Board Elections, scheduled for Saturday, 18 July 2026, will be conducted online via Zoom on Sunday, 12 July 2026.

The vetting schedule is as follows:

🥋 NORTHERN TAEKWONDO ELECTION

The Northern Regional Taekwondo 🥋 Association had their 5-nember Executive body inducted into Office on Friday, June 19, 20206 at the Tamale Sports Stadium 🏟️ after their Election.

The Executive body had a Rev Minister as their Patron, who is poised to support the development and promotion of the combat sport.

🥋 SWEARING IN OF UPPER WEST REGIONAL TAEKWONDO EXECUTIVE

With more of the Regional Elections happening ahead of the National Election, Upper West Taekwondo had board member, Simon Gluikpor officiate the Swearing in Ceremony of their 5-member at the Wa Technical Institute Multipurpose Hall on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

🥋 VOLTA REGIONAL TAEKWONDO ASSOCIATION ELECTION

The Elections of Regional Executives ahead of the National polls continues.

The Volta Region held it's Election at the Pleasure Gardens in Ho on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

Incumbent Chairman retained his post as other members who went unopposed were inaugurated into office by Technical Director, Stephen Amegashie.

The 7-member Executive Committee are:

2. Selorm Segbefiah (PhD) - VICE CHAIRMAN

3. Ruth Baidoo - SECRETARY

🥋 EASTERN REGIONAL TAEKWONDO ASSOCIATION ELECTS NEW EXECUTIVE

The Eastern Regional Taekwondo Association elected into office new executives ahead of the national elections.

The elections which took place at the Adonteng Senior High School on Wednesday, July 1, saw Gladstone Kwawukume Nditsi, win the Chairmanship position.

The smooth, free and fair election process, was supervised by national board member (Technical Director) Stephen Amegashie Jnr, who took the executive through a brief Swearing in ceremony.

The executive include:

Nan Asare Aseidu - VICE CHAIRMAN

Rhoda Kwayisi Darkwah - SECRETARY
