The DAF Embassy for the African Diaspora, representing the 6th Region of Africa, is proud to announce that H.E. Ambassador Dr. Erieka Bennett, Founder and Head of Mission, has been named one of AvanceMedia’s Top 30 Female Diplomats in Ghana 2026.

The recognition, published by AvanceMedia under its annual honours, celebrates outstanding women in diplomacy who are advancing Ghana’s international relations, promoting Pan-Africanism, and strengthening ties between Africa and its global diaspora.

Ambassador Dr. Bennett’s inclusion reflects her decades of leadership in diaspora diplomacy, cultural advocacy, and policy engagement across Africa and the world. Through DAF, she has worked to institutionalize the 6th Region of Africa, foster reparatory justice dialogue, and create platforms that connect African heritage communities globally.

AMBASSADOR DR. ERIEKA BENNETT, HEAD OF MISSION FOR THE DIASPORA EMBASSY, REPRESENTING THE 6TH REGION OF AFRICA COMMENDS THE PRESIDENT AND GHANA’S FOREIGN MINISTER FOLLOWING HIGH-LEVEL BRIEFING FOR DIPLOMATIC CORPS

The DAF Embassy for the African Diaspora representing the 6th Region of Africa led by Ambassador Dr. Erieka Bennett, participated in a briefing session convened by Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP), Minister for Foreign Affairs, today, Wednesday, 29th April 2026, at the Auditorium of the new building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Dr. Erieka Bennett, expressed DAF’s appreciation for the Minister’s clarity of vision and commitment to inclusive diplomacy.

The briefing, extended to the members of the Diplomatic Corps Ghana, on critical updates on Ghana’s foreign policy priorities and ongoing diplomatic engagements.

The Diaspora African Forum reaffirms its commitment to supporting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in advancing Ghana’s diplomatic agenda and in strengthening the bridge between Africa and her global Diaspora.

Diaspora African Forum Commends Ghanaian Footballer Prince Adu Kwabena for Gesture of Gratitude

The Diaspora African Forum Embassy extend our warmest congratulations to Ghanaian footballer Prince Adu Kwabena on his recent impressive performance with the Black Stars of Ghana in their international match in Germany.

We are thrilled to learn that following the team’s victory, Prince Adu Kwabena graciously acknowledged the support of Ambassador Dr. Erieka Bennett, presenting her with a token of appreciation - his official jersey, bearing his name “Prince” and number “19”.

This thoughtful gesture recognizes Ambassador Dr. Bennett’s role in facilitating opportunities for Ghanaian footballers, including Prince of the Bechem United FC to pursue their international careers five years ago.
