✨ Sekondi–Takoradi Diocese Holds 2025 CATH-KIDS Voice Competition! ✨
The 2025 edition of the CATH-KIDS Voice – Preaching and Local Language Bible Reading Competition came off beautifully on Saturday, 22nd November 2025, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Cathedral, Takoradi. The event gathered children, coordinators, animators, clergy, and invited guests to celebrate the gifts of young Catholics and their love for proclaiming God’s Word.
Held under the theme “Restoring Freedom, Renewing Hope: Celebrating the Jubilee Year,” the competition saw 33 coordinators and animators from 15 parishes supporting the children through the various contest categories.
Special guests included Very Rev. Fr. Isaac Ebo Blay (PMS National Director), with the programme chaired by Mr. Joseph Danyi and a dedicated team of co-chairpersons. The judges—Very Rev. Fr. Gordon Buadi Miezah, Sr. Maria Gabrielle Nada Nadine Yankey, and Mr. Andrew Ntsiful—guided the event with their expertise.

The event highlighted the Diocese’s commitment to nurturing faith, leadership, and confidence in children through Scripture and evangelization.
