L’Association des Étudiants et Stagiaires Africains Étrangers au Ghana (AFSTAG) est une organisation qui regroupe des étudiants et stagiaires issus de 13 pays africains résidant au Ghana. Elle constitue un cadre unifié de représentation, d’intégration et de solidarité entre les différentes communautés africaines en formation au Ghana.

Historique et mission

Créée dans une dynamique de coopération panafricaine, l’AFSTAG est née du besoin de renforcer les liens entre les étudiants étrangers et de faciliter leur adaptation au système académique et social ghanéen.

Rôle et objectifs

L’AFSTAG a pour mission de :

Depuis sa création en 2017, l’AFSTAG repose sur un système de présidence tournante avec des mandats de six (6) mois, favorisant une gouvernance inclusive et équilibrée entre les différentes nationalités membres.

Au fil des années, plusieurs présidents se sont succédé à la tête de l’association, contribuant à son organisation, son développement et son rayonnement au sein de la communauté estudiantine africaine au Ghana.

La Commission Juridique Indépendante a assuré le suivi rigoureux de l’ensemble du processus électoral ayant conduit à l’élection du nouveau Bureau Exécutif de l’AFSTAG, jusqu’à son investiture officielle.

Les élections se sont déroulées le dimanche 29 mars au sein de E.L.L, dans un climat de paix, de transparence et de respect des textes en vigueur. La Commission a supervisé toutes les étapes du processus électoral, notamment la planification, la validation des candidatures, la sensibilisation des électeurs, le déroulement du scrutin, ainsi que le dépouillement et la proclamation des résultats.

À l’issue de ce processus, Son Excellence Monsieur Eddy Giovanni GUEBRÉ a été proclamé Président de l’AFSTAG.

La cérémonie d’investiture s’est tenue le dimanche 19 Avril à 17h00 au Durra Institute, en présence du représentant du Premier Conseiller de l’Ambassade du Burkina Faso au Ghana, du Président de l’Association des Étudiants Ghanéens, des anciens Présidents, des membres du Comité des Sages, ainsi que de plusieurs Membres et Dirigeants de la communauté estudiantine.

Elle a consacré la passation officielle de charges entre le Président sortant, Osiris VARISSOU, et le Président entrant, Eddy Giovanni GUEBRÉ, dans un esprit de continuité, de fraternité et de responsabilité institutionnelle.

L’Association des Étudiants et Stagiaires Centrafricains au Ghana (AESCG) adresse ses sincères félicitations au nouveau Bureau Exécutif de l’AFSTAG et lui souhaite plein succès dans l’exercice de ses fonctions, au service de l’unité, du développement et du rayonnement de l’Association.

African Foreign Students and Trainees in Ghana (AFSTAG) is an organization that brings together students and trainees from 13 African countries residing in Ghana. It serves as a unified framework for representation, integration, and solidarity among the different African communities pursuing training in Ghana.

The Independent Legal Commission ensured rigorous monitoring of the entire electoral process leading to the election of the new AFSTAG Executive Board, up to its official investiture.

The elections were held on Sunday, March 29 at E.L.L, in an atmosphere of peace, transparency, and strict respect for the governing statutes. The Commission supervised all stages of the process, including planning, validation of candidacies, voter awareness, voting operations, counting, and the official announcement of results.

At the end of this process, His Excellency Mr. Eddy Giovanni GUEBRÉ was declared President of AFSTAG.

The investiture ceremony took place on Sunday the 19th at 5:00 PM at the Durra Institute, in the presence of the representative of the First Counsellor of the Embassy of Burkina Faso in Ghana, the President of the Ghanaian Students Association, former Presidents, Members of the Council of Elders, as well as several members and leaders of the student community.

The ceremony formalized the official handover of duties between the outgoing President, Osiris VARISSOU, and the incoming President, Eddy Giovanni GUEBRÉ, in a spirit of continuity, fraternity, and institutional responsibility.

Le Bureau Exécutif (BE) de l’Association des Étudiants Centrafricains au Ghana (AESCG) a été honorablement invité à prendre part à la conférence intitulée « Au-delà du cursus universitaire », organisée le 15 avril 2026 par l’Université Klintaps, autour du thème : « 𝑳𝒂 𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒆́ 𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝒂̀ 𝒍’𝒆́𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒆 𝒆𝒕 𝒍𝒂 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 ».

La conférence « Au-delà du cursus Universitaire » s’est révélée être une initiative remarquable, incitant les étudiants à s’ouvrir à l’international, à renforcer leurs compétences et à embrasser l’entrepreneuriat comme voie vers l’autonomie professionnelle.

Par la suite, les prestations artistiques des danseuses de l’Association des Étudiants et Stagiaires Tchadiens au Ghana (AESTG), ainsi que celles de la Communauté Nigériane, ont enrichi l’événement à travers des danses traditionnelles, mettant en valeur la diversité culturelle et le patrimoine africain.

La participation du Bureau Exécutif de l’AESCG à cet événement s’inscrit pleinement dans sa mission de représentation, de formation et d’accompagnement des étudiants centrafricains au Ghana vers l’excellence académique et professionnelle.

The conference « Beyond the Degree » proved to be a remarkable initiative, encouraging students to open up to the international world, strengthen their skills, and embrace entrepreneurship as a pathway to professional autonomy.

Subsequently, artistic performances by dancers from the Association of Chadian Students and Trainees in Ghana (AESTG), as well as those from the Nigerian Community, enriched the event through traditional dances, showcasing cultural diversity and African heritage.

The participation of the Executive Board of AESCG in this event is fully aligned with its mission of representation, training, and support for Central African students in Ghana toward academic and professional excellence.

*Notre regretté frère DEZZOU-WENCESLAS a été retrouvé sans hier matin sans vie à Lomé (Togo), dans sa chambre.* *Les circonstances exactes de son décès demeurent à ce jour inconnu. Les autorités compétentes ont été notifiées afin que toute la lumière soit faite sur les conditions de cette tragique disparition.*
*Figure marquante de la communauté et du monde sportif, il restera dans les mémoires comme un homme engagé, dévoué et attaché aux valeurs de solidarité et de fraternité qui animent notre communauté.*
*La Communauté Centrafricaine au Ghana (CCG) présente ses profondes condoléances à toute la famille du défunt ainsi qu'à l'ensemble de l'équipe de football CFTG et à tous ceux qui ont eu la chance de côtoyer DEZZOU-WENCESLAS.*
