🚨 GHANA, LET’S TALK

“Sometimes late talking needs support, not just time.”
Not every quiet child is “just shy.”
Not everything is spiritual.

Sometimes… it’s early signs of autism.
👀 Watch for:
• Not responding to name
• Little eye contact
• Speech delay
• Lining up toys repeatedly
• Extreme reactions to small changes
And please — don’t just “wait and see.”
⚠️ Early support changes everything.
If you suspect autism:
1️⃣ See a paediatrician or specialist.
2️⃣ Ask for proper assessment.

Centres like Aact Ghana and other providers offer guidance and intervention.

💛 Trust your instinct. Acting early can change a child’s future.

It takes a whole community to support an autistic child. 💙

Teachers, neighbors, church members, shop owners — everyone plays a role in making life easier and more inclusive for autistic persons. When the community understands, families feel supported instead of isolated.

Since 1998, 𝗔𝗔𝗖𝗧 has been helping communities across Ghana learn how to include and empower autistic children and adults. Together, we can make inclusion a lifestyle — not a project. 🌍

📚 Admissions are open for autistic learners 𝟭𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿.

Even though we have consistently raised awareness on autism there is still more room for autism awareness campaigns. We are committed to raising autism awareness from our community to the nation at large. This we believe will empower autistic people and build a more inclusive environment.

📖 𝗔 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗞 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧

When at age 3 Kofi’s vocabulary was lesser than his age required, his family was told someone had “bewitched” him. They tried prayer camps and herbal cures — but nothing changed.

Years later, when they learned about autism, everything finally made sense. With therapy and care, Kofi began using different mediums to express himself. 🌟

Autism is not a curse — it’s a condition that needs understanding, not fear. 💙

At AACT, we provide that understanding — and we’re open for admissions for autistic learners 10 years and older.

Even though we have consistently raised awareness on autism there is still more room for autism awareness campaigns. We are committed to raising autism awareness from our community to the nation at large. This we believe will empower autistic people and build a more inclusive environment.

💙 Gratitude Post 💙

Today, we dedicate our Gratitude Post to — a true friend of the Autism Awareness Care & Training (AACT) Centre.

Since April 2022, has faithfully supported us with 10 bags of sachet water every single week. This gesture has been life-giving to our Centre, easing a constant need and allowing us to focus more on what we do best — including, supporting, educating, and empowering autistic persons in Ghana.

But their generosity goes beyond water. They have also opened their doors for some of our autistic learners to do work practice, giving them the dignity of participation, the joy of inclusion, and the confidence to contribute meaningfully. 🌟
We are so thankful for their dedication and the love they continue to show our learners. Today, as we celebrate them publicly, we invite you to join us in appreciating Aquadot Natural Mineral Water for proving that inclusion is not just possible — it is powerful.
