Wish Foundation is a Non-Governmental Agency establish to change the lives of women and children. It was given to the founder Miss Natalie Takyi- Appiah by the Lord God to help women and Children in need of the Help. Our first project was the Adolescent S*x Education Programme (ASEP) which was targeted at adolescent girls between the ages of 10- 14 years. We teach these girls the transitional cha
nges the go through and why the go through and also the importance of maintaining good personal hygiene at this stage. We also teach them that certain things are normal and will go away when the transition is over. During this project we came to a notice that some girls were being abused by someone close to them and didn't know how to defend themselves or who to tell so we were able to speak to them build their confidence and teach them to tell any adult they live with if the person doesn't stop. So far we have spoken to over 10,062 girls from different schools in Accra and we are hoping to start next season outside of Accra
