In this episode, we bring you a heartfelt and worth-telling conversation with Grace Abrah, a physically challenged farmer from Abura Dunkwa in Ghana's Central Region.

Through resilience, determination, and hard work, Grace's story highlights the vital role women farmers play in strengthening Ghana's agrifood system, ensuring food security for families and communities, and reminds us of the importance of supporting and empowering women in agriculture.

If Ghana produces only 5-6% of the poultry it consumes, what must we do differently?

Speaking at the launch of the 6th Ghana Poultry Day, Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, Hon. John Dumelo, expressed confidence that the government's Nkoko Nkitinkiti initiative will significantly reduce poultry imports once it reaches full implementation.

With the first phase successfully completed, the programme is expected to boost local production, create employment opportunities, improve food security, and significantly reduce poultry imports.

Building a stronger poultry industry requires a collective effort from government, farmers, investors, processors, and consumers alike.
