Our mission is to provide holistic support and empowerment to street-connected children, equipping them with the skills, resources, and opportunities they need to rise above their circumstances and lead fulfilling lives. By addressing the root causes of their street situations and working towards their reintegration into society, we are paving the way for a brighter future for Street-connected children in Ghana. Empowerment: We believe in empowering street-connected children by providing them with educational opportunities, skills training, and access to resources that build their self-esteem and confidence.

Our Children in Hazardous Work (CHaW) being the backbone of SCEF, believe that education is key to transforming lives. Our cutting-edge educational programs provide street-connected children with access to quality education that meets their unique needs, unlocking their potential and opening doors to a brighter future. Health and Well-being: The well-being of street-connected children is at the forefront of our efforts. We provide comprehensive healthcare services, ensuring that they receive regular check-ups, vaccinations, and access to necessary treatments. Our focus on nutrition, mental health counseling, and sexual reproductive health further supports their overall well-being. Reintegration and Family Reunification: We are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to rebuild familial connections. Through our dedicated teams and community partnerships, we work towards reuniting street-connected children with their families, providing ongoing support and guidance during the reintegration process. Through our Center for Grassroot Enterprise, we equip street-connected youth, and families with practical skills through vocational training programs such as Urban Savings and Loan, Parental, and financial literacy. By developing their abilities in various fields, from technology to entrepreneurship, we empower them to become self-reliant and pursue meaningful careers.
5. Advocacy and Awareness: We amplify the voices of street-connected children, advocating for their rights and raising awareness among policymakers, communities, and stakeholders. By challenging societal perceptions and fostering empathy, we strive to create a society that embraces and supports the reintegration of street children. Impact:
Since our establishment, SCEF has positively transformed the lives of over 500 street-connected children through scholarships, over 10,000 children through complementary education, and social and community services through events, projects, and programs in Ghana, providing them with the tools and opportunities to break the cycle of street situations and poverty. Our interventions have resulted in increased school enrollment rates, improved health outcomes, and successful family reunifications. Join Us:
