The 3rd Year Running Tree Planting Exercise at Shai Hills Forest Reserve is here, and we’re inviting all Rotarians, Rotaractors & Interactors to be part of this impactful movement!

Last year we planted hundreds of trees. This year, we’re going even bigger to restore our forest, fight climate change, and secure a greener future for generations to come.

On Wednesday 17 December, Rotarian Nana Yaa Pokua Siriboe, District Governor, Rotary District 9104 & Rotarian Kojo Nunoo, President, Rotary Club of Accra-Airport Under the auspices of Dr. Yakubu Seidu Adam, CEO, Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital & Dr. Amma Benneh-Akwasi Kuma, Director, Ghana Institute of Clinical Genetics, Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital commissioned a new Physicians’ Consulting Office Block at the Ghana Institute of Clinical Genetics, Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

This project commemorates the 25th anniversary of our club was ably supported in providing compassionate care, advancing treatment options, and working towards a future where everyone affected by sickle cell disease receives the care they deserve.
 
The additional consulting rooms will enhance our capacity to provide high-quality services, improve patient outcomes, and elevate the overall care experience.

Past District Governor Dave Amankwah conducted the final inspection of our anniversary project, alongside Rotarian Amma Beneh and the resident contractor of the project.

The team was satisfied with the work done to provide additional consulting rooms at the sickle cell clinic . We are optimistic these additional facilities will provide privacy, faster clinic visits, and increased comfort for patients who visit the clinic.
