Greater Accra Tennis Association Promoting and enhancing the game of tennis in the Greater Accra Region Tennis clinic organised by Mrs Zenabu Sulemana Akotoh for 2 weeks. Last year was 150 kids.

We had a huge response of more than 300 kids who attended this Season. Three years ago I had 75 kids. We are looking for sponsorship. Anything from used tennis rackets and Junior rackets since we have ages 3 -16 boys and girls. Used tennis shoes will also will be appreciated too. As you can see, some of this kids wear slippers. Three boys came wearing slippers with one shoe and they change into th

e shoe to play in turns, which was quite Sad to see really. However, We give a massive THANK YOU to Vodafone and Melcom gave us T-shirts and some few items for each kid too. Some individuals gave used tennis balls and the GTA gave both used balls and rackets to support the number. Nestle settled for milo drink. I struggled to pay transportation plus lunch to 15 coaches and 5 volunteers each day for the 2 weeks. This is to put smiles on their faces. So please look around you and see if you can find some kind of support for me and the kids for the interest of the development of this game which has come to stay. If am able to find more stable sponsors, I will organise this Tennis Academy plus tournaments every vacation. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
