This will demand us to make available and utilise the right resources through the power of young people. Core Values:

Excellence, mutual respect, passion, creativity, volunteerism, innovation and service

Slogan: Our voices, our actions/The Future is Now

Motto: Unleashing Youth Potential

Goals and objectives: To gather and empower passionate, promising and purposeful young people with dreams and burning desire to become responsible and contributing members of their communities. As a youth social fabric, YWB among other things will

be a platform where important youth developmental issues like personal responsibility, self-worth, genuine and dedicated mentors, motivation, integrity, recognition, creditability, general well-being are addressed so we can achieve our dreams in the best possible way despite our youthful background
create better opportunities for the young people to develop and assess a wide range of resources, tools, networks early in their development and channel them towards attainment of their dreams
challenge young people to innovate, create, dream, explore, volunteer, discover and achieve greater things to transform their lives and their communities
give the strongest moral and social support for the youth through age-appropriate expertise and ethical practices available as they work towards our dreams.

At the recent regional stakeholder engagement organized by CDD-Ghana - Ghana Center for Democratic Development, with support from the Participation, Accountability, and Integrity for a Resilient Democracy (PAIReD) initiative, focused on the work of the Office of the Special Prosecutor - Ghana - (OSP) 👇🏾

Leaders of YWB Ghana contributed a youth perspective to the ongoing conversations—particularly reflecting on how deeply youth engagement should be embedded in the OSP’s work

YWB Ghana is grateful for the space to share, learn and add on to national discourse towards shaping a more inclusive and effective anti-corruption ecosystem

It was insightful to learn more about the OSP’s “Youth Against Corruption” initiative—their progress, impact, and the real challenges they continue to navigate

This positions us, as a youth-led organization to look into how best we can champion in fighting against corruption through innovative youth-led engagement and initiatives.

Empowering Youth to Support Survivors

Members and some board members of Youth Without Borders Ghana were proud to participate in a one-day training organized by the Board Secretary [Yayra Hya] in collaboration with the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection through the Domestic Violence Secretariat on Trauma-Informed Care, Self-Care, and Stress Management

This particular training was part of her Leadership challenge project as part of the Kofi Annan Global Health Fellowship 👏

As young people committed to community impact, this experience was a powerful reminder that addressing domestic and gender-based violence is not only a professional responsibility—but a youth-driven call to action

The training brought together key institutions including the Ghana Health Service, Department of Social Welfare, and CHRAJ to strengthen how frontline responders support survivors. For us as youth, it highlighted how important it is to be informed, compassionate, and proactive in creating safer communities

What stood out most was the emphasis on coordinated action and empathy—ensuring survivors are treated with dignity while strengthening systems that hold perpetrators accountable

As YWBGH, we believe young people have a critical role to play in advocacy, awareness creation, and supporting survivor-centered approaches in our communities

This training has equipped members not just with knowledge, but with a renewed commitment to be voices for change and support systems for those who need it most
