MPs and Ministers Prestige Awards

The Distinguished Honorary Award

The MPs and Ministers Prestige Awards also known as MPs Awards Dinner Night is a Prestigious Awards Ceremony to recognize and honor the hard work and achievements of Members of Parliament.

Selected Members of Parliament will receive a Distinguished Honorary Award.

The Distinguished Honorary Award will be conferred upon Members of Parliament and Ministers in recognition of those who have distinguished themselves in line with their duties with outstanding achievements ( Performance) in their constituency and the floor of Parliament.

The selections are made by the MPs Awards Board in consultation with key stakeholders to select Members of Parliament who deserve to receive the Distinguished Honorary Award during the awards ceremony.

The Board also used the parameters (Key indicators) on which Parliamentarians could be assessed as well as other KPIs to assess all nominated Members of Parliament to be selected to receive the Distinguished Honorary Award.

70 MPs out of the 275 Members of Parliament will receive the Honorary Award from the MPs Awards Board.

Lifetime Achievement Award

9 Former and current Parliamentary will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award by the MPs Awards Board.

The Public Voting Awards Categories

275 Members of Parliament 21 public voting awards categories, which Member of Parliament will be voted for by the general public to win any of the 21 categories during the biggest legislature awards ceremony in Africa.
