The Accra Human Rights Forum International (AHRFI), formerly the Institute of Human Rights Studies (IHRS) is an impartial, an unbiased organization that educates, conducts regular investigations on human rights abuses, defends freedom of thought and expression as well as equal protection of the law. IHRS holds all Government irrespective of political divides accountable for its human

rights practices and abuses. Main Focus:
• Free all prisoners of conscience
• Ensure fair and prompt trials of political prisoners
• Abolish death penalty
• Inhuman or degrading treatment of prisoners

• Women,
• Minorities,
• Children,
• Indigenous peoples,
• Media freedom, and
• Economic and social rights
