Our Story
NATURE OF BUSINESS Charis Touch Foundation is a non-profit organization that seeks to render support to orphans and the less privileged in society. The goal is to provide solution to these underprivileged individuals by providing shelter, education, trade, moral support and proper health care services and this will provide hope to these individuals, and reassert a sense of hope for them in the future. Only through education, better healthcare services, trade and shelter to these individuals will give them the commitment to follow through on path to becoming better citizens with a sense of pride and accomplishment. MISSION STATEMENT To mobilize resources for addressing the challenges facing orphans to enable them realize their full potentials through promoting programs on education, health care, recreational skills, shelter, social security and moral support. VISION CHARIS TOUCH FOUNDATION is the driving force that helps build a world where the needs of the less privileged are met, and rights of the less privileged are promoted. OBJECTIVES The Foundation’s objectives are mainly but not limited to: i. Establish a home for amputees,shelter to orphans in the various orphanages and allocate the street children to various orphanages through the help of social welfare and to connect those children who have parents back to their families. ii. Provide the basic needs of these children, give them basic education and to train them in self-reliance skills that will be available at the center. iii. Provide counselling service to these individuals. iv. Engage in an awareness creation, civil education lobbying and advocacy programs for the enhancement of the right and welfare of these individuals.
