International Youth Day 2026 | Peace Pulse Network

🌍 Happy International Youth Day! πŸ’œ

Today, Peace Pulse Network celebrates the energy, creativity, resilience and leadership of young people everywhere.

Young people are not merely leaders of tomorrow, they are changemakers today. Their voices, ideas and actions are essential to building peaceful, inclusive and sustainable communities.
At Peace Pulse Network, we believe in creating spaces where young people can speak up, lead, participate, innovate and contribute meaningfully to peace and development.

On this International Youth Day, we call on young people to:
✨ Be voices for peace
✨ Reject violence, hate and division
✨ Embrace dialogue and inclusion
✨ Use technology responsibly
✨ Stand up for their communities
✨ Lead with courage, compassion and purpose

When young people are empowered, communities become stronger. When young voices are heard, peace becomes possible.
Let us continue to invest in, listen to and empower our young people, because the future is young, and the future is peace. πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’œ

MENSTRUAL HYGIENE DAY CELEBRATION IN MAFI-SASEKPE

On Thursday, we joined the global community in commemorating Menstrual Hygiene Day with an educational and empowerment program for girls in Mafi-Sasekpe.

The program aimed to raise awareness about menstrual hygiene, break the stigma surrounding menstruation, and encourage young girls to prioritize their health, dignity, and education. Participants were educated on proper menstrual hygiene practices, the importance of self-care during menstruation, and the need to support girls in managing their periods with confidence.

As part of the celebration, sanitary supplies were distributed to support girls in maintaining good menstrual hygiene. Exercise books were also presented to encourage academic excellence and ensure that menstruation does not become a barrier to education.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all stakeholders, volunteers, community leaders, and supporters who contributed to the success of this initiative. Together, we can create a community where every girl has access to menstrual hygiene products, accurate information, and the support she needs to thrive.

✨ Proud Moment for Peace Pulse Network! ✨

Our very own Aaryanna Azumah is representing us & πŸ‡¬πŸ‡ powerfully in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, at the African Girls Summit organised by the African Union. πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ΉπŸŒπŸ’›
Today, she delivered an impactful presentation as a Rapporteur on the theme:

β€œConflict Situations and Their Impact on Girls.”

She highlighted how climate change continues to intensify the challenges faced by girls and young women across Africa:

πŸ”₯ Increased vulnerability
πŸ“š Interrupted education
πŸ’Ό Economic instability
🚰 Water scarcity burdens
🌱 Limited opportunities for growth
πŸ’ͺ But also the strength, leadership, and resilience of African girls
Aaryanna emphasized that:

β€œClimate change does not affect everyone equally, girls carry the heaviest burden. But when empowered, they become leaders of resilience, sustainability, and peace.”

We celebrate her voice, her courage, and her leadership on the continental stage.
Peace Pulse Network stands firmly behind her as she elevates the voices of African girls in climate and conflict conversations.

πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
Keep shining, Aaryanna!
Your impact is being felt far beyond Ghana.
